Accounting

Our experienced accounting team are well-versed in establishing accounting systems (including using cloud-based Xero accounting software) and providing outsourced book-keeping, financial reporting and payroll services to help streamline the operations of new or existing businesses.

Accounting record set-up. We undertake initial meetings with the client to understand what procedures and controls should be put into place to ensure accurate reporting and safe management of cash and other assets, as well as the definition and allocation of responsibilities. We will create a template Excel spreadsheet or assist the client to establish a cloud-based account using Xero accounting software, and input the initial accounting information, chart of accounts, and opening balances from existing records or systems.

Monthly bookkeeping and reports. We can provide basic monthly book-keeping services, or maintain a full set of accounts in compliance with Myanmar financial reporting standards, including posting and checking all entries and performing bank reconciliations. Our full accounting service includes generating management reports (profit & loss statement and balance sheet) on a monthly basis to keep our clients informed on financial performance. We can also provide custom periodic financial reports according to the needs of your business.

Support for audit processes. We can introduce, and assist with engaging, reputable Myanmar auditors to undertake annual statutory audits of financial statements, along with liaising with our clients’ auditors to provide documents, information, and general support for the audit process.
